Omo 2009
In September of 2009 I had the unique experience of filming a TVC with Willy McIntosh for Omo laundry detergent. But I didn’t appear as myself. Instead I got the Hollywood makeover and was transformed into Albert Einstein. The storyline was that I, or rather Mr. E, made a surprise visit to an elementary class. I give some wordly wisdom to the teacher and then take off my “mask”. Out pops Willy! So in effect, I’m a body double pretending to be Willy pretending to be Einstein. The filming itself was fun. The make-up on the other hand was not. Four hours in the chair while they put all sorts of foam, plastics, and glue on my face and hair. The results speak for themselves! Check out the photos!
