There And Back Again

My first trip to Had Yai and it was a day trip for Morning Talk. Another 7am flight and we arrived there an hour and a half later. Once on the ground it was straight to the first interview with the General Manager of the International Airport. Not too difficult. We then had to drive into town and find the Robinson Department Store. Not as easy as we would have hoped. All the one way streets made navigation quite a challenge. Inside the store we went to Inlingua, our sponsor, and did a few insert shots. Then it was back to the airport for two more interviews. The first talk was with O&A’s sponsor, TNT, and the second with the governor of Songkla. It was all apart of a donation ceremony. To make the day more complicated one of the Princesses was leaving from the airport so it was crawling with officials, police, and staff.

I had a scare when I was conducting my interview outside and someone lifted my bag with all my stuff in it. Lucky for me it turned out they thought it was part of their luggage and when they realized their mistake they brought my bag to Lost & Found. I was having a $hit fit though. And of course my producer had to play a game with me and say they didn’t find it. A$$hole. We did have good luck in getting an earlier flight back to Bangkok. Only when I was driving home I hit traffic… lots of traffic. An hour later I arrived home. I need a vacation.
